Foresight Advisors founder, Kaego Ogbechie Rust, is a career business advisor, entrepreneur, and author. With a background in financial services, and years of investment experience across the public and private markets, Rust has worked with companies in alternative investing, impact investing, foundations, venture capital, private equity, small business, and startups. Foresight Advisors is now a small team of strategy, operations, project management, and design experts — known for an agile approach, collaborating closely with clients to deliver a personalized and hands-on experience.

Prior to founding Foresight Advisors, Rust served as a Senior Vice President at Goldman Sachs for nearly 10 years. During her time at Goldman Sachs, Rust designed global market curriculum for numerous CEOs, COOs, CFOs, and Portfolio Managers; and developed growth strategies for fund managers such as Tiger Global, Farallon Capital, and Partner Fund.

Rust is the co-author of the Best Selling book “The Venture Fund Blueprint,” a step-by-step guide on how to build and launch a firm with lasting impact and value, great returns, and operational excellence.

Rust is a regular contributing speaker and writer for a variety of publications — with her notable pieces including “How to Make a Pitch Deck for Your Fund,” “3-Month Fundraising Plan,” and “7 Steps to Assess Your Competition.” She is a Board Member of Edgewood Center for Children and Families, the largest children’s charity in the western U.S., and chairs its Operations Committee.

Rust has a passion for supporting women in business, currently resides in San Francisco, and received her B.A. in Economics from Harvard.
